Add a Google Calendar to your website
If you run a website and you need to keep
your customers or friends informed of events,
adding a Google Calendar to your 350pages
website is an ideal solution. It's really
easy to do with 350pages.
When you are logged into your Google Calendar,
on the left of the screen under the My Calendars
section, click on the down arrow next to
the name of the calendar and from that menu,
click on Calendar Settings. Further down
this webpage, you should find a small piece
of HTML code in the section - "Embed
This Calendar". If you want to customize
the display of the calendar, you are able
to do so by clicking the link just above
the code.
When you are happy with the customization,
highlight the code and copy it.
Then, in the 350pages editor for your webpage,
go to the Object above or below where you
wish to place the calendar and select the
Insert option on the Object's editor
bar. From the menu select Paragraph,
and click on above or below (or replace if
you want to swap the currently selected object
for your calendar) and this will bring up
the Text editor.
You will see three tabs at the top of the
Text editor. Click on the HTML tab, and 'paste'
the code for the calendar into the box. Click
Save, and the calendar should appear as you
want it. Save and publish the webpage as
you normally would so that everyone on the
web can see it too.
