Add a Google Map to your website

If you want to display a map and directions to your home, place of business or event on your website, then a Google Map is the best and easiest way of doing it. You can embed a map, driving directions or a local search via the Google Maps tool.

Go to maps.google.com and find the section of the map that you want to embed. Click on the "Link to this Page" text in the top right above the map. Two pieces of code and a link to customize the map further will appear. Click on this link if you wish to change the size of the map, otherwise highlight and copy the HTML from the second piece of code.

Then, in the 350pages editor for your page, go to the Object above or below where you wish to place the map and select the Insert option on the Object's editor bar. From the menu select Paragraph, and click on above or below (or replace if you want to swap the currently selected object for your map) and this will bring up the Text editor.

You will see three tabs at the top of the Text editor. Click on the HTML tab, and 'paste' the code for the map into the box. Click Save, and the map should appear as you want it. Save and publish the webpage as you normally would so that everyone on the web can see it too.
