Add a PDF file to your website Adobe Acrobat enables you to create professional,
magazine quality documents for use off and online. An example
might be a graphically rich product brochure that your customers
might print out or your business plan. Adobe Acrobat converts any
document into a Portable Document Format (PDF) file. ![]() Now you can need upload your PDF file into your website. Go to your 350pages and click on the upload button. This will bring up the upload dialog. Click on the browse button, and then find the file on your hard drive. Select it, and click OK to return to the upload page. Click on the Upload button to upload the file into your File Manager. Once the file is in your File Manager, publish it by clicking on its checkbox in the pub column on the file list. Make a note of the web address of your file when it is displayed in the confirmation screen -you will need this in the next step. It is now just a case of adding the file on your web page. Hover over an existing item either above or below where you wish to insert your PDF file, and click the Plus button. Choose to add a paragraph either above or below, and in the Paragraph editor, click on the HTML tab. Replace the default text with the following snippet of HTML code: <a href="http://www.350.com/pdffile.pdf" target="_blank">Click to see our PDF</a> You will need to replace the red text in our example with the web address of your published PDF file. Now simply save and publish your web page for the changes to take effect! |
