Add Presenter Pack Pro to your website

In conjunction with our partners at WebsiteGlue, 350pages is pleased to offer Presenter Pack Pro, a new and unique way of adding a real talking presenter or spokesperson to your pages. By integrating a presenter onto your webpage, you can attract and allure visitors. There are many different presenters, but the easy method of installation is the same for all of them.

The Presenter Pack Pro is available here.

Once you have downloaded your Presenter Pack Pro, extract all of the files from the ZIP file into a folder on your computer (if you are having trouble extracting these, remember that the license key you receive from WebsiteGlue is the password for the files). There are a few key files which you have to upload into your 350pages account from this folder, and it needs to be put into the same folder as the page you want to place it on. Log into your account and go to your File Manager, and then click on the New Folder option. Type PresenterPackVideo as the folder name, and then click create. Select the PresenterPackVideo folder, and then click on the upload button.

Find the folder you extracted earlier to your computer. You'll see two Presenter folders, one for a male presenter and one for female. Open the folder of the style you'd prefer, and you'll then see a selection of folders of different presenting styles. Again, open the folder of the one you want, and select all of the files in that folder to upload.

If you would like more information on how to use the 350pages uploader, please click here.

Once the upload is complete and you're back in the File Manager, you'll need to rename one of these files. Find the video/x-flv file by looking at the type menu, and then rename this file by replacing the underscores with spaces. Once this is done, publish those files, and then click on the main button to be taken back to the top level of your File Manager. Once again, click on the Upload button, and upload the close.gif file from the folder on your computer. Again, once this has been uploaded, publish it.

Now you can insert the presenter onto your webpage. Edit the page you want to add the presenter to, and scroll to the bottom, hover above the final item on the page, and click on the insert icon. From the insert menu, choose the HTML Snippet option. You'll then want to paste one of the following lines of code in, depending on where you want to put the presenter:

For Top Left:
<script type="text/javascript" src="PresenterPackVideo/topleft.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="PresenterPackVideo/presenter.js"></script>

For Top Right:
<script type="text/javascript" src="PresenterPackVideo/topright.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="PresenterPackVideo/presenter.js"></script>

For Center:
<script type="text/javascript" src="PresenterPackVideo/center.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="PresenterPackVideo/presenter.js"></script>

For Bottom Left:
<script type="text/javascript" src="PresenterPackVideo/bottomleft.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="PresenterPackVideo/presenter.js"></script>

For Bottom Right:
<script type="text/javascript" src="PresenterPackVideo/bottomright.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="PresenterPackVideo/presenter.js"></script>

With that done, click on the save button, and then save and publish your page in the usual way. It's as simple as that!

If you want to change the presenter at any point, all you have to do is delete the files in the PresenterPackVideo folder, and upload the files from a different presenter folder.
