Add a YouTube Video to your website
Internet video has become very popular over
the last couple of years, and millions of
videos have been uploaded to specialist services.
The most popular of these is YouTube, and
with 350pages, it is very simple to add videos
for display on your website with a simple
piece of HTML.
Once you have found your desired video on
YouTube you will need to "embed"
it into your 350 page. On the page for the
video, to the right, you will see a grey
box with information on the video. At the
bottom of this box will be a field called
Embed with the code that you require. Highlight
and copy this code.
Then, in the 350pages editor for your page,
go to the Object above or below where you
wish to place the YouTube video and select
the Insert option on the Object's editor
bar. From the menu select Paragraph,
and click on above or below (or replace if
you want to swap the currently selected item
for your YouTube video ) and this will bring
up the Text editor.
You will see three tabs at the top of the
Text editor. Click on the HTML tab, and 'paste'
the code for the YouTube video into the box.
Click Save, and the video should appear as
you want it. Save and publish the page as
you normally would so that everyone on the
web can see it too.
